Week number 51-42
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Construction on Madurodam is in progress on a piece of fallow land on the edge of The Hague. The first miniature houses of the city center have already been built; workers are working on a.o. moving earth, the laying of pipes or working on the construction of the harbour; architect Bouma points out on a map what is going to happen or gives a group of interested persons a tour; drawings of the planned townscape show the spectators what the eventual result will be.
